By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Rixom, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, you must not use the app. Your continued use of Rixom after any update to these Terms will be treated as your acceptance of the revised version.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we do, we may post the updated version in the app or through another reasonable means. Your continued use of Rixom after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, tags, usage entries, and other content you submit or create in Rixom (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app.
This license does not give us the right to use your User Content for unrelated purposes, and it ends when the content is deleted from the app or when your access ends, except to the extent we must retain data for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Rixom offers in-app purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Any virtual currency, including Coins, is a consumable digital balance used only within the app to unlock features or expand capacity. Coins have no real-world monetary value, are not a stored-value account, and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred outside the app, or exchanged for any other goods or services except as expressly offered in Rixom.
All purchases are final to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee refunds for unused Coins, accidental purchases, or changes in your usage preferences, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law or Apple’s policies.
Rixom is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Functionality may depend on device compatibility, operating system version, Apple services, local notifications, and other factors outside our control.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including features, content, pricing, access rules, or technical requirements.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Rixom, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, attempted to interfere with its operation, or engaged in conduct that may harm us, other users, or the app’s integrity. We may also take action where required by law or by Apple’s policies.
You may stop using Rixom at any time. If you discontinue use, your right to access the app ends automatically, but sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
Rixom is an iOS application designed as a lipstick collection manager for beauty enthusiasts. It helps users record and organize lipstick items, track usage history, estimate expiry dates, identify dormant items, compare shades side by side, and review collection statistics such as spending, brand distribution, and frequency of use.
The app includes a main lipstick cabinet, usage logs, color comparison tools, profile-based analytics, reminders for expiration, and a coin-based economy for unlocking premium capabilities and increasing collection capacity. Rixom is intended for users who want structured, personal management of their lipstick collections and related data. Some features are available only after unlocking them with Coins.
The app uses SwiftUI, CoreData, local file storage for images, Keychain-based account state persistence, StoreKit 2 for purchases, local notifications for expiry reminders, and a custom navigation and tab interface. Certain functions may rely on device permissions or platform features, and the app is currently designed for light-mode use only.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIXOM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
We do not warrant that any content, calculations, reminders, statistics, expiry estimates, or other outputs will be complete, accurate, current, or reliable. You use the app at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE RIXOM.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will be limited to the amount you paid to use the app or purchase Coins during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by law if a lower cap is required.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download, install, and use Rixom on compatible Apple devices for your own non-commercial purposes.
You may use the app to manage your personal collection and related information, but you may not use Rixom for resale, service bureau, commercial redistribution, or any purpose not expressly authorized by us.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you enter into Rixom, including product details, photos, notes, and any other data you upload or create. You should ensure that you have the right to submit any materials you provide and that doing so does not violate the rights of others.
You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device, your Apple account, and any access credentials or settings that may affect your Coins, purchases, or app data. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your device or account.
Rixom, including its software, design, branding, interfaces, graphics, logos, text, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, publicly display, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app or any part of it except where such restrictions are prohibited by law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of Rixom, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement or violation of any third-party rights.
We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of that matter.
Rixom may produce automated outputs such as expiry calculations, idle-status assessments, reminders, summaries, charts, rankings, and other informational results based on user-entered data and app logic. These outputs are provided for convenience and general informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee that any generated result will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it, and any reliance on generated results is at your own risk.
You must be at least 17 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in order to use Rixom. If you are using the app on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
If you do not meet these requirements, you must not use the app. We may restrict or terminate access if we learn that an ineligible user is using Rixom.
You must not use Rixom for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: attempting to hack, disrupt, or overload the app; reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code, algorithms, or models except where permitted by law; using bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the service; interfering with security or authentication measures; and uploading malware or any other harmful code.
You also must not post or submit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, or use the app in a way that violates the rights, privacy, or safety of others.
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which we are legally established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
If any dispute arises, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve it in good faith. Where a court or tribunal has jurisdiction, it will apply the governing law identified above to the extent permitted by applicable law.
